CONNECT will host a Public Policy Forum focusing on President Obama’s Innovation Plan featuring distinguished speaker Peter Cowhey, Former Senior Counselor to Ambassador Kirk in the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR).  Mr. Cowhey will discuss the Administration’s national innovation agenda, its strengths and weaknesses, and what this means for San Diego start-ups and entrepreneurs.  Most importantly, Mr. Cowhey will discuss how San Diego can play a role in recommending responsible innovation policy at the federal level.
